Ron Wayne was the designer of the original Apple Logo. This logo was produced in pen and ink. As the lower logo (all of the pictures representing the evolution of the Apple Logo were copy and pasted from the website http//www.edibleapple.com/the-evolution-and-history-of-the-apple-logo/) presents the APPLE circled by a white border. Steve Jobs thought this might be difficult to mass reproduce in miniature and one year later, after Ron Wayne left, Steve commissioned the Regis McKenna Advertising Agency to create a logo that would be more suited to what his vision for the company would be. He wanted a logo that would be reproducible in miniature. After a ton of money the Regis McKenna Advertising Agency presented Steve Jobs with the now iconic Apple Logo”.

When most people see this discolored rainbow apple which is missing one bite, with the green on top, the first thought in most minds are the Apple Computers. This logo has endured from 1976 – 1998.
