Activity analysis # 4
Title: Fine motor game;
  Feed the bunny, Feed the monkey, and Feed the dog
Standards: Fine motor skills development
Materials:
Three sets of fine motor games including Feed the bunny including one basket, one bunny basket, thirty carrots, and one tweeze. The game ‘Feed the monkey” including one buckle, one monkey open mouth shape, thirty bananas, and one tweeze. , a set of the game “feed the dog” including a dish for feeding the dog, an open mouth dog body, thirty bones, and one tweeze. We need a table and 4-6 chairs or a rug area.
Objectives:
To develop fine motor skills by using tweezes, knowing that each animal has its own food, counting the food, here carrots, bananas, and bones. Competing with each other to know who can feed the animals more, knowing the great and less than measures, conversation and talking about the value of the food and animals’ need for feeding and our role in feeding the animals.
Approach/ Transitions
The teacher put the games in the writing center and children came and began to play with them.

Learning environment:
It was done in the classroom and after the nap and before snack time for 30 minutes.
Modifications:
It can be done in outside too with more time and children. Besides of developing fine motor skills, teacher and children can talk about animals eating for example dogs eat bones, bunnies eat carrots, and monkeys eat bananas. Also they can talk about how carrots and bananas grow and where the bones come and what specific minerals and vitamins have each food and etc.  
Teacher’s role
In this activity the teacher has guidance role, she asked open ended questions and encourage children to use tweezes and support the children to share the games to each other and to take turn to next.
