Kargil War And it impact on Indian subcontinent
Kargil war was in the sequence of Indo-Pak conflict over Kashmir. Since birth of both nation Kashmir is the bone of contention. The division of Indian continent was a big mistake in itself and leave the Kashmir issue unsolved work as putting ghee in fire. They have encountered each other 3 times already in history like 1947, 1965 and 1971.Everytime Pakistan have to face defeat but it always made it stronger and whenever it got opportunity to revenge , never lose the opportunity.
After 1971 war ,for few years , there were peace in Indian subcontinent but in the start of nineties siyachin glacier issue highlighted when Pakistan army make bunkers on it . They were retaliated by Indian force and now it was Indians turn to sit on siachin peak. After having lot of round of discussion, it was non-conclusive. As the winters are very cold, Indian army left the high hills in 1998 and come down for 3 month and the Kargil war was the result of this activity. As Indians left their post ,it was occupied by Pakistan supported militants. When 6 brave Indian soldier lost their lives then Indian feel about the   scenerio   but till that they were very late and capture these hill peaks was not a easy task for Indians now. Then Indian army had to lead the situation to take control of these peaks. It was like indo-pak war .One side Militants were getting support from Pakistan army and on the other hand Indian had to climb on straight hills. Things were going worsen but any how Indian army got victory after losing it lot of brave soldiers.
It was the 4th war in indo-pak history but it couldn’t change the mindset of both countries. Both were seeing each other with more suspicious and relation more worsen. Both country blamed each other   for this happening. Pakistan’s politically become weak and army took over the charge of country. President and Prime minister left the country to save their life.
